I have been in the South Bay for 20+ years by way of New York and Connecticut. I absolutely love it here.. My first soiree with the Southern California lifestyle started in 2004. I packed a Jeep Wrangler and set off on a journey from Connecticut to a new life on the other side of the country. I landed in Hermosa Beach, renting one side of a duplex bungalow on Monterey and 2nd street. It was June of 04 and the Lakers were in the finals. Hermosa was alive and well. Back then it was very much still that quintessential beach town and I was in love with all of it. I lived in Hermosa in that same area for another 4-5 years before meeting my wife at a party. I courted her for a year or so before securing our first date in 2009, we haven’t looked back since. She pulled me out of Hermosa kicking and screaming in 2010. We landed in West Torrance, renting just off Anza and Emerald for a handful of years before purchasing our first home in West Torrance in 2018; Spencer Estates on Spencer and Earl. We loved the house and the community but we longed for a back yard. In 2021 we did a test run on our property, tossed it on the market to see how we would do. I listed it for $1,148,000, 7 days and 14 offers later we were in escrow for $1,260,000 - a new price record for the City of Torrance(a record I later broke myself and still hold to this day). In search of our next property while our current property was in escrow, we found it in Rancho Palos Verdes. We went up against 17 offers and secured our new home in October of 2021; a 1950's track home fixer. We game planned a renovation strategy and executed. Fast forward to present day and we couldn’t be happier here. While all that was happening, we had two kiddos and got a dog! It was a busy 5 year run for us with lots and lots of moving parts but with the right mindset and drive - you can achieve anything amongst the chaos. Being a buyer and seller myself, I fully understand the weight of buying and selling real estate . I know the excitement, I know the apprehension, I know the ups and the downs that come with it. I have lived it and continue to live it everyday through my clients. I understand when I take a new listing, my clients goals are square on my shoulders. Not only do I welcome that, I crave it. The satisfaction I gain by navigating my clients through the listing process to their ultimate goal, is what drives my business forward day in and day out. Your goals become mine and I will do everything I can to get us to the finish line as seamlessly as possible. People say do what you have passion for and you won’t work a day in your life. I am thankful that I found that idyllic scenario that I set out to find back in 04' when I was in that packed Jeep, with a few dollars and a dream. If you’re reading this far, I hope we will be partners on your Real Estate journey. I will do everything I can to get you the best outcome possible. I will find any hiccups in advance and solve them in real time. I will operate efficiently, I will communicate often and together we will reach our collective goal. Onward and Upward, Jack
